Efetividade da Avaliação do Docente pelo Discente na Perspectiva da Formação Humana Integral: Uma Proposta de Instrumento Avaliativo

Abstract

The research work presented here investigated if the current model of Evaluation of the Teacher by the Student (ADD), carried out in IFMS, dialogues with the PoliticalPedagogical Project that underlies the Federal Institutes, contributing to the integral human education of the students. In this work, we sought to identify the perceptions of integrated high school teachers regarding ADD, as well as analyze the institutional goals for this evaluation. Interpreting the data collected, we analyzed, employing the dialectical method, which theoretical-philosophical conception of evaluation and teaching work underlies the current model of ADD and which conception of human education guides it. Aligning with ProfEPT objectives, the educational product is a proposal of an alternative instrument/tool of Evaluation of the Teacher by the Student after analysis and interpretation of the data obtained during the research, employing the understanding of the factors that impact the effectiveness of this instrument as a promoter of integral human education, within a perspective of education that aims at the passage to polytechnic education. Results pointed to a theoretical alignment between the ADD in IFMS and its rationale described in the institutional documents to the Political-Pedagogical Project of the Federal Institutes. However, in the teachers' perception, we identified a diversity of conceptions about the social function of education, the effectiveness and necessity of the ADD and, above all, we realized that the concept of integral human education is not widely understood and accepted among the teachers participating in the research, which, in the limit, implies a loss for the materialization, in large part, of the training project proposed by the Federal Institutes.
