Empreendedorismo e inovação para o ensino técnico integrado: uma possibilidade pedagógica

Abstract

The main objective of this work, which is part of the Research Line Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education (EPT) and the macro-project "Methodological proposals and teaching resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT", was to map pedagogical practices for teaching Entrepreneurship and Innovation offered by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, Campus Campo Grande and to identify the perception of Integrated High School (EMI) students regarding the provision of the theme of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the curriculum and how a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to initiate this theme can stimulate student participation in entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives offered by the campus, thus contributing to the development of entrepreneurial characteristics and attitudes throughout their educational career. A quantitative and qualitative approach was used to develop the research, based on the creation of an educational product, which requires five stages: 1) definition of the general objective of the course, 2) identification of the learning needs of the students and research teachers, 3) development, 4) testing and 5) verification of the course. The first three stages were organized by means of a systematic review (bibliographical and documentary), as well as a survey using a closed questionnaire (electronic form), which was applied to the EMI students at the IFMS - CG campus, regardless of whether they had already taken the Entrepreneurship and Innovation subject, which is included in the articulating core of polytechnic training. The results showed that, although there is a limited amount of research on the subject of entrepreneurship in MOOC courses aimed at EMI students, the evaluation of the educational product developed, when applied to the students, showed that it is feasible to offer it in the curriculum as complementary training. This was also evident in the teachers' analysis of the convergence between the course content and the students' educational demands. Therefore, it is essential to understand entrepreneurial skills as crucial components in the learning process, especially when incorporated into an innovative approach to Professional and Technological Education (EPT), based on reflection and critical analysis of the practices used in Entrepreneurship and Innovation classes, fostering greater student involvement, given that these skills have been outlined and highlighted as imperative in facing the challenges inherent in today's world of work.
